Me: When I was little, my favorite
things were my cat and my Barbie dolls. That's me
"playing Barbie" many moons ago. :-)
The dolls from my generation were primarily Twist 'n Turns
and Malibu Barbies,
but when I revisited Barbie as an adult, I was struck by the intricate details
and elegance of the early Ponytail dolls and their
fashions. I fell in love with
Barbie all over again, and my enthusiasm blossomed into this business.
I've been a vintage Barbie dealer for over 20 years.
From 2002 to 2005, my original domain name was
BarbieCo.com, but Mattel claimed copyright and
demanded ownership of my domain to avoid legal
action,
so I reinvented myself as
VintageBabs.com.
